Astronomy 16: Further Reading
Below is list of various articles, WWW pages and
other texts which are not required reading,
but which we encourage you to look at if you
are interested in finding out more than what we have
time to cover in class. Links will take
you either directly to the article,
or to the HOLLIS or
ADS listings for these sources,
where available. Many of the articles
below are from Sky and Telescope,
Physics Today,
New Scientist,
Astronomy Magazine or
Scientific American. These
are all available in the Harvard library system (and current issues
are on sale at
most bookstores and news agents).
In reading these articles, bear in mind that astronomy is a rapidly
changing field! Some of the ideas in older articles may now
be out of vogue.
