Further Observations

This page will, when finished, explain the rationale behind the various ratings given under the column 'Further Observations?' in the Minor Planet Ephemeris Service and MPChecker.

The subroutine that determines the rating is a "work in progress". It does not yet have the necessary code to prevent it recommending observation of an object at a solar elongation of 6 degrees. This capability will be in the next version.
