Secure On-Line Ordering

IMPORTANT NOTICE (Posted 10 Dec. 14:28 EST)

We have received notification from Harvard University that the CfA must immediately shut down their credit-card processing facility. The CfA credit-card processing facility is not PCI-compliant and, because CfA is in the harvard.edu domain, Harvard cannot have the liability of operating such a system. There are no plans to certify the CfA system. CfA will move to use the Smithsonian Institution's PCI-compliant credit-card processing system, but this will take some time to set up.

Until the new system is set up, the MPC/CBAT/ICQ secure on-line ordering facility will be unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience, which is due to circumstances beyond our control.
