Instruments

Hectospec
A moderate-resolution, multiobject optical spectrograph fed by 300 optical fibers.

Hectochelle
A high-resolution (R~30,000), multiobject spectrograph fed by Hectospec's fibers.

Megacam/Minicam
A 36-CCD optical imager covering 24' by 24'.

Binospec
A moderate-dispersion direct optical spectrograph using up to 150 slitlets located within a 16' by 15' region.

Wide Field
Corrector

A refractive corrector for the f/5 focus of the converted MMT.

MMIRS
A NIR (1-2.5 microns) Imager/Multiobject Spectrograph

f/5 Wavefront Sensor and Science Camera
A deployable Wavefront Sensor and (NEW!) Science Camera for the f/5 focus.

SWIRC
A Y, J, and H near infrared imager.
