Polarizer Mechanism tested, and UVCS partially recovered as of 19:10 UT at which point, SUMER ramp down, and SOHO Telemetry Submode change must take place. Partial recovery consisted of changing UVCS Software Mode to OPS, moving Polarizer to 8100, 13206, and 2994 Engineering Unit positions, ramping down OVI and VL detector High Voltages (transition to SAFE mode had already turned HV power supplies off), disabling and then reenabling OVI and VL Detector HV commanding, and transmitting OVI, LYA, and VLD science buffers. NRT paused for UVCS at 19:10 UT, resumed for UVCS at 19:58 UT. Taking advantage of UVCS Detector HV being ramped down and turned off, OVI Detector Masks are loaded. NRT is disabled at 20:17 UT during load of first mask, but all mask commands are uccessfully transmitted (and verified according to FOT). A noop command was successfully sent to UVCS as a test of NRT link integrity when NRT is resumed at 20:22 UT. Remaining Detector Masks are uploaded to UVCS. Detector HV is then turned on and ramped up, and science load begun. Note: According to FOT UVCS entered SAFE mode at 17:34:20 UT and UUMTOMCV violated Yellow Low at 17:35:02 (OVI commanded mcv level is 0 or YL because of transition to SAFE mode, though still shows as 210 on UTOCC screens).
