Wu Command file: 03.02.25.20:57:49.cmd.log Activity: --------- 1) Recovery of UVCS from Soft Safe Configuration Sequence: Manual SCI_SPEC: Following completion of Synoptic for 24 February 2003, UVCS is placed into a Soft Safe configuration in preparation for the SOHO MM/SK operations of 25 February 2003. Instrument is rolled to the nominal East (35156 Engineering Units), Detector High Voltage is then ramped down and turned off, OVI Slit has been closed from 150 microns to 100 microns, and Mirror / Occulter is moved to 1.5 Solar Radii with 1.5 mm overocculting. UVCS is then recovered, Detector High Voltage is turned on, and ramped up, and instrument configured for observation. Expected Limit Violation sheets submitted to FOT via SOC for any expected limit violations during this time.
