These line emissions from streamers will observed by SPIRIT-CORONAS in coordination with UVCS-SOHO observation of Ly-alpha, OVI, and SiXII line emissions from the same coronal structures. The scientific goal is the derivation of the absolute (i.e., relative to H) abundance of He in the extended corona. The morphologies of the coronal structures as observed in these different line emissions will also be compared.
