Instrument is rolled to the nominal East (35156 Engineering Units), Detector High Voltage is then ramped down and turned off, OVI Slit has been closed from 150 microns to 100 microns, and Mirror / Occulter is moved to 1.5 Solar Radii with 1.5 mm overocculting. Detector Masks Uploaded while Detector High Voltage is turned ramped down and turned off. UVCS is then recovered: Detector High Voltage is then turned on, ramped up, and the instrument configured for observation. Expected Limit Violation sheets submitted to FOT via SOC for any expected limit violations during this time. Goal is to measure the properties of a high-latitude coronal hole. In particular we are interested in the coronal conditions (intensities and line widths for HI Ly-alpha and OVI 1032/1037) as a function of height and latitude. We will compare these properties with the ones found in polar coronal holes. Roll positions are VL-corrected for PA=225 degrees.
