Useful Primers for the Unix System
Here is some basic info re unix and emacs:
Unix Primers:
1. http://www.unixtools.com/unixprimer.html
1a. http://www.unixtools.com/tutorials.html
2. http://www.sci.sdsu.edu/Docs/unixf/basic_unix_f/basic_unix.html
3. http://www.uoguelph.ca/ccs/unix/primer/intro.html
3a. http://www.uoguelph.ca/ccs/unix/primer/chapter4.html
Ok but not great:
4. http://enterprise.aacc.edu/~pxg/
5. http://communication.ucsd.edu/bjones/Unix.docs/
For your editor, I use emacs:
http://www.farne.uklinux.net/emacs-primer.html
http://www.cems.uwe.ac.uk/~lrlang/java_html/emacsref.html
these two primers are quick and dirty but will do the trick.
